Abstract

Governments through urban management orient their projects to improve the quality of life of the population and focus on a global vision to improve the environment where an adequate urban transport infrastructure will allow mobility and accessibility to people and goods in a dignified, timely manner, reliable and economical. This article aims to analyze the main models that address the management of urban quality of life associated with transport. The following methods were used: bibliometric analysis that made it possible to determine the main lines of research on the subject and the bibliographic review that made it possible to search for the main elements that relate urban quality of life and transport. It was determined that the variables with the greatest presence in the studied models are related to safety, environmental impact, accessibility, travel times and the comfort and convenience of means of transport.
