Abstract

This research aims to propose a procedure to evaluate the spatial location of Complementary Services (SC) in tourist destinations based on an index of customer approach (IAC) and its attractiveness. The general procedure developed constitutes a tool to support decision-making in shaping the offer. It has a study related to location factors in the case of services and a proposal in this regard. Among the techniques used are expert methods, Delphi method, survey, non-probability sampling and the use of different software. Lastly, the proposed procedure was applied to a representative sample of the catering services of the Varadero tourist destination, determining the priorities for improvement based on the relationship between the attractiveness and its location in the destination based on the IAC.
