Abstract

Adequate territorial planning is essential for the sustainability of development and, within it, the integration of ecosystem services is key. The objective of this research is to develop a procedure for the integration of ecosystem services to territorial planning in the socioeconomic context of Cuba. Methods were applied: historical-logical, synthesis analysis and inductive-deductive. As results, the procedure designed for the integration of ecosystem services into territorial planning is presented; as well as its application in the Ciénaga de Majaguillar. Likewise, lines of action were proposed to implement changes in territorial planning resulting from the integration of ecosystem services, which are based on indicators of ecosystem services for decision making related to the sustainable use of the goods and services of the ecosystems that They simultaneously promote human well-being and the conservation of biodiversity
