Abstract

The study is carried out in the area of welding in the company Ciudad del auto (CIAUTO) for the four model car (M4), where the activities are identified in each of the work stations, as they are one work station where it is carried out Welding of the engine compartment, front and rear floor, work station 2 weld finishing, put three welding of the sides, put four welding finisher, put five  installation of brackets, front and rear fenders, doors, post six installation of capot, gates, rails and finally the quality inspection post, in each of them using audiovisual resources the measurement, calculation and recording of normal times, standard times using as a work performance factor based on the Westinghouse tables, calculation of work supplements, company values, being 18191 seconds, a takt time of 2730 seconds with a on demand in that period of 10 units. With the standard times the precedence diagrams are made to determine the line balance and the corresponding work assignment with a total of 10 people, because the synchronized operations have to be performed both on the right and left side of the car
