Abstract

The research was carried out at the Empresa de Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Matanzas (EAAM), with the aim of developing a procedure for evaluating and improving the motivation of its workers. This procedure is based on a literature review - documentary to obtain theoretical references and basic criteria about work motivation and its study. Methods used include: working with experts and the Kendall Concordance Coefficient, reviewing documents, direct observation, surveys, interviews and statistics for the validation and reliability of the questionnaire. A plan of improvement actions focusses at the continuous improvement of motivational factors, identified as the most affected: recognition, realization and salary.
