Abstract

Nowadays, effective safety and health management is required to guarantee safe conditions in work environments. Present research was conducted in a private SME Printing manufacturer. Its main objective is to analyze safety and health management systems effect over accidents in work environment. For this purpose, methods like documental analysis, accidents historical data as well as a protocol check list for auditing management system were applied. Investigation determined company decreasing trend of work accidentabilityas a result of favorable management system evolution. Nevertheless, incident prevention and risk control have opportunities to improve
