Abstract

Knowledge management has been recognized as a crucial element for proper supply chain management. This research was conducted in a construction supply chain. The objective is to design a general maturity index that allows for the measurement of knowledge management in a construction supply chain. The proposed procedure consists of four (4) phases. The main results obtained are a maturity level using a checklist, which is at an initial stage; an overall knowledge performance, which obtained a value of 0.473, placing it at a defined level; and the overall maturity index, which obtained a value of 0.364, placing it at a conscious level.
Keywords: knowledge management, overall maturity index, construction supply chain.
