Procedure for improving the management of human capital in Cuban companies

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to propose a procedure for the improvement of the Integrated Human Capital Management System applicable to all Cuban enterprises and whose primary purpose is to increase the contribution of organizations to local development through the improvement of strategic business management of human resources. The proposed procedure, taking as a reference the criteria of various authors, the legislation in force and the principle of continuous improvement, consists of four stages and the techniques proposed are direct observation and those related to the process approach, the Vester matrix, expert method, diagnostic technology, brainstorming, impact matrix, SWOT analysis, teamwork, document review, which allow enriching and supporting the activities of the procedure.
