Abstract

Ergonomics and the Safety and Health in the university environment not only provide comfort and well-being, but are also fundamental bases in academic and work performance; Therefore, the lack of an environment governed by the principles of Ergonomics could have a direct impact on the physical and mental health of workers. That is why the objective of this research is to study the ergonomic conditions of the Career Department of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering of the CUJAE. Anthropometric measurement is used with the implementation of photometry through the ImageJ software that allowed the preparation of the table of anthropometric dimensions of the work personnel. The analysis of the data produced by this methodology made it possible to carry out a diagnosis to evaluate the means available to the Department's workers, determining several problems in ergonomic conditions.
