Technological capacity of the Matanzas Research, Project and Engineering Company
Abstract
The article aims to present the result of the evaluation and improvement of the technological capacity of the Empresa de Investigaciones, Proyectos e Ingeniería de Matanzas (EIPI), Cuba. For this, the procedure for the Calculation and Improvement of Technological Capacity in Business Organizations was applied, in a period of three years (2018-2020). This procedure is based on five capacity factors, 17 indicators and 49 variables. The main result of the investigation was the improvement of the technological capacity index (CTemp) of the company in the years evaluated from the identification of the weak variables of the organization and the corresponding actions for continuous improvement. As a fundamental conclusion, the implemented procedure allowed evaluates and improve CTemp in EIPI, taking it from 49% to 58% as a result of improvement actions.
