Logistics management system for service processes

Authors

Abstract

The Cuban biotechnology business system lacks management tools that integrate the logistics activities that make up this system. The research objective is proposed: Design a Logistics Management System that favors the integration of service processes. Consequently, a system was developed that has as components: the results of Logistics Models, a Plan of measures for the improvement of the process and a System of Logistics Indicators. Documents from the organization and the biotechnology sector were analyzed, as well as the national and international bibliography on the subject. Techniques such as brainstorming, checklist and Ishikawa diagram were applied. The implementation of the Logistics Management System integrates the processes through the articulation of strategic management and management control, using indicators associated with logistics, which respond to the demands and needs of the enterprises.
