Abstract

The current business environment demands effective innovation management to adapt to rapid technological, social, and economic changes. By fostering an innovative culture, organizations can better address challenges and leverage opportunities in their environment. Muebles Imperio, a leading company in the furniture industry, faces this challenge with a comprehensive approach to its processes. This research aims to partially implement the Cuban Standard 1307:2022 to improve the operational processes of Research, Development, and Innovation within the organization. Through a comprehensive diagnosis using UCINET software, compliance with requirement 8 of the standard was evaluated, and strategic actions were defined to strengthen the company’s competitiveness in the international market. It is concluded that the structured adoption of the standard enhances business adaptation, driving sustainable growth and responsiveness to dynamic environments.
