Abstract

The Digital Transformation process, launched in Cuba in 2022, involves a profound and accelerated transformation of activities, processes, skills, and business models to fully leverage the changes and opportunities offered by digital technologies and organizational data. Business Analytics, utilizing the quantitative models and methods of Management Science, benefits from digital transformation through the extensive and intensive use of information technologies and Big Data available to organizations, especially businesses. In this way, Business Analytics fosters better, or even optimal, decision-making, thereby increasing the value generated by these businesses. The objective of this work is to analyze the advantages and potential challenges of applying Business Analytics in Cuban business organizations.
