Signs of change in the transition towards a technology-based company in the hydraulic sector.

Abstract

The article aimed to present the favorable change signals of the Basic Business Unit for Technical Services, which is the only productive business organization directly subordinated to a Higher Business Management Organization, in this case, the Water and Sanitation sector. A doctoral research in progress evaluates change management supported by knowledge management and open innovation as a viable alternative to accelerate the change towards an independent technology-based business organization (SMEBT). The research, in a stage of conception, implementation, and deployment, although it has not achieved an impact on management, shows favorable signs of change that confirm the convenience of the procedures, methods, and tools used in the Organization.
