Instrument to evaluate managerial competences in base cuban sports managers
Abstract
A non-experimental, correlational research was carried out with the goal of building an instrument to evaluate managerial competencies in managers of Cuba base sports, which contemplates the demands of the Cuban sports system. The universe it was composed by 4000 workers, subordinate to the Directors of Sports Combinates, of Granma province. The sample it was composed by 290 individuals, selected through random sampling, stratified by municipality and performance level. Inductive-deductive, analytical-synthetic, modeling and systemic-structural-functional were applied as theoretical methods. The questionnaire was applied as an empirical method. Through an Exploratory Factor Analysis, an inductive model structured in 12 dimensions and 48 observable variables was obtained. It is concluded that the instrument derived from model have the potential of provide objectivity, precision and discriminating capacity to the evaluation process of base sports managers, which would constitute three emerging qualities.
