The sustainable development objectives and the Accreditation System of Higher Education

Abstract

In the present work, the relationship between the sustainable development objectives, the goals and the indicators of the evaluation and accreditation system of higher education institutions was exposed. Its general objective was to expose the correspondence between the SDGs, the goals and the indicators of the System of Evaluation and Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions. This relationship is important for the projection in higher education institutions of a quality training process, both for undergraduate and postgraduate. A study of the indicators of the System of Evaluation and Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions of the National Accreditation Board of the Republic of Cuba, the sustainable development objectives and the corresponding goals was carried out. The results were entered into the Quality Management System of the University of Informatics Sciences and are systematically controlled in the preparation of the structures for institutional reaccreditation.
