Abstract

The article aims to analyze the concepts, approaches and models on innovation and innovation management, which allows identifying their regularities for their projection and application according to the characteristics of the application context. The analysis of the theoretical framework required a systematic review of the scientific production of the last ten years and its evolution, together with the study of practical applications in innovation management. The research methodology is made up of several phases from the conceptual framework on innovation, innovation approaches and models, innovation management methods and standards, as well as the identification of trends and recommendations for their application
