Abstract

The objective was to determine how teleworking and adaptability to digital change work in the service of an area. For the investigation, the Affiliation and Technical Control in the Promotion and Consulting process (voluntary and independent affiliations) at the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security, Manabí Province was taken, framed by the health crisis due to the COVID 19 pandemic. They used methodological tools, such as: the As/Is service process diagram; the study of time with the individual detailed photograph, and the questionnaire that evaluated the adaptability to change. The results reflect a 100% use of the working day and an imbalance in the processes, since more hours are used than the established working hours (overtime), affecting the well-being of its workers. It is concluded, that technological innovation favors productivity with teleworking.
